This Shipping Policy outlines the terms for shipping goods on the Elysian Varelle platform. By purchasing or selling on Elysian Varelle, you agree to the following:

1. Shipping Methods

Elysian Varelle works with reputable carriers to ensure secure and timely deliveries. In some cases, we may deliver packages directly. Standard and express shipping options are available. The specific method used will depend on the item's size, weight, and destination, as determined by Elysian Varelle. Sellers agree that Elysian Varelle may choose the most suitable shipping method on their behalf.

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping is free for buyers. Sellers cover the cost of shipping items to Elysian Varelle for authentication and storage, and for shipping items to the customer. Shipping costs for sellers are determined by the size, weight, and destination of the item.

3. Handling Time

Orders are usually processed within 1-2 business days. However, processing times may vary during peak periods or due to the nature of the item.

4. Delivery Time

Delivery estimates will be provided at checkout and may vary based on the selected shipping method and destination. Elysian Varelle strives to meet these estimates but cannot guarantee delivery dates due to potential carrier delays or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Shipping Confirmation and Tracking

Once shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details to monitor your package’s status.

6. International Shipping

Elysian Varelle currently ships within Australia only. International shipping may be introduced later. For international orders, customs duties, taxes, and fees (if applicable) are the responsibility of the recipient.

7. Undeliverable Packages

If a package is undeliverable due to an incorrect address, refusal, or other reasons, it may be returned to Elysian Varelle. We will contact the buyer to arrange reshipment, and additional fees may apply.

8. Damaged or Lost Packages

If your package is lost or damaged during transit, contact customer support within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We’ll work with the carrier to resolve the issue and, if necessary, provide a replacement or refund. Sellers are responsible for any damages incurred to items during transit to Elysian Varelle, unless proven to be caused by Elysian Varelle or its agents.

9. Returns and Refunds

Please refer to our Return and Refund Policy for details. Sellers are responsible for covering all return shipping costs, including pick-up fees, which will be deducted immediately after the item is returned to an Elysian Varelle fulfilment centre. This deduction occurs regardless of whether the seller has already received their payout from the sale of the item. The cost of returns, including shipping and handling fees, is determined solely at the discretion of Elysian Varelle and may vary depending on the size, weight, and other logistical factors related to the item.

10. Seller and Buyer Liability for Items in Transit

Sellers are responsible for securely packaging their items to prevent damage during transit. Elysian Varelle will not be liable for any damage caused during transit or due to inadequate packaging. The seller bears full responsibility for the item at all times, including while it is in transit, stored with, or being processed by Elysian Varelle or its agents.

Once the item has been delivered to the buyer or placed outside by the buyer for a scheduled return pick-up, the buyer assumes full responsibility for any damage, loss, or theft. If an item is left outside for pick-up by Elysian Varelle or its agents, the buyer is liable for any theft or damage to the item until it is successfully collected by Elysian Varelle.

After the item is successfully picked up from the buyer’s location or returned to an Elysian Varelle fulfilment centre, the seller resumes liability for the item’s condition.

11. Failed Pick-Up Attempts and Extra Charges

If Elysian Varelle or its agents attempt to pick up an item and the item is not left outside as arranged or the seller (or buyer) is not available to hand over the item, the pick-up will be considered unsuccessful. In such cases, the seller (or buyer) may be charged an additional fee for rescheduling the pick-up. The additional fee will be determined by Elysian Varelle based on the time, location, and resources required for the rescheduled pick-up.

Sellers and buyers must ensure that the item is ready for pick-up at the agreed-upon time and location to avoid additional charges.

12. Governing Law

This Shipping Policy is governed by the laws of New South Wales.

13. Amendments

Elysian Varelle reserves the right to amend this Shipping Policy at any time. Sellers will be notified of significant changes, and continued platform use signifies acceptance of any updates.
