This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms for returning and refunding items purchased on the Elysian Varelle platform. By purchasing or selling on Elysian Varelle, you agree to the following:

1. Returns:

Return of Items: If a buyer is dissatisfied with an item, they can request a return within 30 days of receiving it. The item must be in its original, unused condition with all tags and packaging intact. Return requests are subject to approval by Elysian Varelle.

Return Shipping Costs: Sellers are responsible for covering all return shipping costs, including any associated pick-up fees. These costs will be deducted immediately after the returned item reaches an Elysian Varelle fulfilment centre, regardless of whether the seller has already received their payout from the sale of the item. The cost of returns, including shipping and handling fees, is determined solely at the discretion of Elysian Varelle and may vary depending on the item’s size, weight, and other logistical factors.

Faulty or Damaged Items: If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, the buyer must notify Elysian Varelle immediately. We will assess the issue and, if confirmed, arrange for a return and offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Refund Process: Once the returned item is received and inspected by Elysian Varelle, we will notify both buyer and seller of the status of the return. If approved, a refund will be processed to the original payment method within a certain number of days.

2. Condition of Returned Items:

Returned items must be in their original, unused condition, including any tags, packaging, and authentication certificates. Elysian Varelle reserves the right to reject returns if these conditions are not met.

3. Shipping Damages and Seller Responsibility:

By selling on Elysian Varelle, sellers agree to assume the risk of items during transit. "During transit" refers to any point while the item is being transported from the seller to the buyer, or being returned to Elysian Varelle in the case of a return. Sellers bear full responsibility for their items while they are in Elysian Varelle’s care, storage, or logistics network. However, once the item is delivered to the buyer or placed outside by the buyer for return pick-up, the buyer assumes responsibility for the item until it is successfully picked up by Elysian Varelle or its agents.

4. General Terms:

Approval of Returns: Elysian Varelle reserves the right to approve or reject return requests. Decisions are made based on the condition of the item and compliance with return requirements.

Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all return and refund requests.

Australian Consumer Law: This Return and Refund Policy is in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit the rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
